Sogetsu Ikebana Flower Arrangement Introductory Class Apr. 2012
Oki Education Center

Using fresh flowers, students will be introduced to contemporary Japanese flower arrangement according to the Sogetsu School.

Materials: Ikebana flower scissors*, shallow flat bottom container (suiban) - a minimum 10" diameter and 2" deep*, flower pin holder (kenzan) - 3" diameter sun/moon shape*, and Sogetsu textbooks 1 & 2*.
*All materials should be purchased in the classroom. It is suggested that you arrive 20 minutes early to purchase your materials before the start of class.

4-week session: Apr. 6, 13, 20, 27
Cost: $70 (Members $60) + Flower fee of $40 total for the 4 weeks payable to the instructor
